We need you!
There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer through the PTCO. You can join or help lead one of the many committees, depending on your interests. There are also opportunities to volunteer in your child’s classroom throughout the year. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, there’s a role to match nearly every family’s schedule and availability.
*All volunteers must register here with the Cherry Creek School District prior to being in the building. This must be renewed annually and you will receive an email reminder!*
Greenwood Gatherings
Love planning events, big or small? Get involved with a Greenwood Gathering! These fun, free events bring our community together and are a great way to make a positive impact. Events in the past have included:
- Back to School Picnic
- Bake Sale
- Mom's Night Out
- Trunk or Treat
- Valentine's Dance
- K-2 Event
- 3-5 Event
- End of Year Carnival
Room Parent
Each classroom needs a Room Parent to help coordinate volunteer efforts and support the teacher throughout the year. Room Parents play an important role in organizing classroom parties, communicating volunteer needs to other parents, and helping ensure events run smoothly. It's a fun and rewarding way to stay involved in your child’s class and support their teacher.
Committee Involvement
Committees help make great things happen for our Greenwood community. Whether you're interested in leading the bi-annual live auction or assisting with school supply orders, there are opportunities with varying time commitments to fit most families’ schedules.
